HE HI-Y Club is different from , other clubs here at Lincoln. We have certain aims and standards we nmst live up to and which we hope will help to improve the whole school. Club membership is limited, and it is an honor in itself to be admitted. New fellows are voted in by the members of the previous year. This year we had charge of the an- nual football Homecoming celebra- tion. HI-Y CLUB Row 1, left tn right-Earl Zahorik, Ashton Mahnke, Kenneth Holtz, Jerry Hansen Row 2-Bill Glander, Bill Paulus, Fred Heckel, Lloyd Luecke, Merlyn Hoel- ner. Kenneth l-Iolsen Absent when picture was taken-Burlyn Stuewe joll - Good - Fellows HI-Y CLUB Row l, left to righfa-Jim Meany, LeRoy Wilde, Peter Spoentgen, Bob Jarosll Row 2-Jim Wilda, Pat Mohr, Charles Klinkner, Ray Luisier, Bob Kowalski. Al Nemetz 102 Together with the Tri-Hi-Y, we sponsored something new and different - Red-White Day -- Lin- coln's first basketball homecoming. We went to the Plymouth Confer- ence this year, too, with Mr. New- ton jones, our sponsor. We inet a lot ot fellows from clubs like ours in other cities-a really worth while trip! Officers for the year were president, Burlyn Stueweg vice president, Ray Luisierg secretary, Al Nemetzg treas- urer, Bob Kowalski, sergeant-at arms, LeRoy Wilda.
