These linger in the thoughts of all who attend the Prom. Work, Worry Time . . . These face all those who work on the Prom. Most of us look forward to our first Prom. A few look forward to their last. The Prom is a time of waiting-waiting for an invitation, waiting for the night, waiting for one's date. The excitement and anxieties seem like part of a dream, but it soon becomes a reality. Arriving at the dance they enter a magical world, populated by couples in formals and tuxeclos and filled with heavenly music. After a happy and gay evening, the couples leave reluctantly. The memory of this one night will never fade, but grow fonder as the years go by.
