We assumed a debT oT eighT dollars aT The beginning oT The semesTer, which was Tor equipmenT in The aquariums oT The biology deparTmenT. We sponsored moving picTure shows every Wednesday aTTernoon Tor some Time in order To pay off The debT and Tor currenT expenses. This was necessary, as The club does noT levy any dues. AT our monThly evening meeTings we had spealcers who 'rallied To us upon some scienTiTic subie-cT. Among Those whom we have heard were The direcTor oT The Michigan Humane SocieTy, who illusTraTed his Tall wiTh moving picTures: Mr. Horn, who spole on indusTrial Russia, and Mr. Friedland, who spolie To us on radio and radio broadcasTing. The Science Club plans To cooperaTe wiTh The STudenT Board and The biology deparTmenT in improving The lawns and shrubbery arc-und The school.
