When unexpected news items had to be relayed during the eourse ol' tht- day. eat-h commentator was willing to announee tl1e report. These girls were to be eom- mended. for their task was indispensable. fnmpvmal ng nulzle. , A, S'l'AGli CREW 'l'l1e stage erew was an organization ol sexen boys. who were outstanding in eon- struetion and mechanical abilities. These boys helped set up the necessary props for all events held on stage. Some of their various tasks eonsisted ol' properly arrang- ing stage settings. manipulating the curtains and obtaining appropriate lighting effects for plays, eoneerts. and assemblies. Sound elleets were provided when needed. The crew was under the capable super- vision ol' Mr. Williams who has had eon- siderable experience in stage work. They were kept busy with numerous duties, but the boys found the work interesting. Although thanks were Ilttl often expressed. everyone was grateful for the serviees rendered by these boys.
