Charles Barnes SYNOPSIS OF OPERETTA Mr. and Mrs. Mayfield are giving a week-end party for their daughter, Peggy. Among the guests are Winnie Woodland, Don Sterling and Bill Manning. Mr. Mayfield has been at the state capital to see about a land deal. He announces to Peggy and the guests that tliey are all to hoard his yacht for a a trip to the island of Pandora. Bingo, the colored porter, ushers in two strange gentlemen, McGinnis and C-assaway, whose conversation discloses the fact that no claim has been filed to Pandora. Mayfield intends to develop it as a resort and if they can obtain possession, they can make him pay well to get it back. Peggy is always talking about a hero.
