9 'S tht? SBHSDII l30l'HtiUl1 BB Members of Student Senate spent weeks planning a fun filled day for first graders from Godsman and Goldrick Elementary Schools. The kids arrived in the early afternoon to encounter an elf, Michelle Huffaker, and the exuberant members of Senate. During the day the kids got to sing Christmas carols, see a pro- duction of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas , talk to Santa and Mrs. Claus, and have their afternoon hunger satisfied by a snack of ice cream and cake. All in all, everyone involved had a great time. J. Esterly Ray Rodriguez plays Santa to Jason from Godsman. 2 6 Student Life S? . 4-ef +51 iw 6 'L J A2 f. On the other hand, many guys were also looking forward to seeing that special girl. This year once again a group of students sold Val-A-Grams. This was a very good way to show that special so- meone that you really cared, although most preferred their own special gifts. Head boy Curtis Larson said, It,s more fun to see the expression you get when the gift you give holds a special meaning to the one you give it to? Friendship is an important factor in life and a valentine is the perfect way to show your appreciation for all the things that people have done for you in the past. B. Cherry Lisa and Lane show us their Valentine spirit. The hands of romance clasp together on this day to express their love for each other. Student Life

Lancer students went back in time to an era of poodle skirts, bobby socks, and leather jackets. Students had a great time dancing to 50's as well as up to date music. They did dances such as the Twist, the Bunny Hop, and the Stroll. The Student Senate went all out with decorations consisting of 50-100 balloons, tons of colorful streamers, and an eleven foot tall, fully decorated Christmas tree. J.
