FOOTBALL Our Sophomore gridaers finished the year with a successful 4-3 record and a third place standing in the league. Led by captain Mike Russell and out- standing players Mike Cahill, Kenny Carwin, and John Dill, the little Lancers ended with a record equal to that of the varsity. West was the victim of the Sophs' highest scoring game; the Lancers scalped the Cowboys 32-6. East was the only school to score more than 13 points against the solid Sopho- more defense which was one of the best in the league, allowing an average of only 11.1 points per game. Next year's varsity should be greatly strengthened by the addition of these players. Mr. Bock STAND l NGS SCORES EAST 7-0 LIN. OPP. WASHINGTON 6-1 13 EAST 27 T.
