Girls' League Week saw the introduction of new activi- ties. Not only were the traditions of the Iollipop sales and the girl-help-boy attitude honored, but Hush Day and Pink Pigtail Days were enthusiastically supported. The Twirp Dance and later the ALM-Girls' League Dance proved to be two of the years better dances. The Dad and Daughter Banquet paid tribute to fathers while the Mr. Ugly Contest recognized those lacking beauty. The May Fete Assembly ended an active year.
