From the freshman to the senior years, students improve reading, oral and written expression, listening and the general understanding of the English language. In the freshman course, the basic fundamentals of grammar are learned. Types of literature and various styles and techniques are introduced in the sophomore classes. American literature is studied in the third year while the senior year is based on English literature.
