Everyone put forth their effort There were pep rallies, spirit contest, and the Pigskin Review. Vorious clubs presented the foot- boll team with cakes and other love gifts during special pep rollies. During homecoming week the students' Congress sponsored a Bozoor, featuring booths monn- ed by several of the school's ac- tive organizations. Because of the highly supportive students, faculty, and community bucking, the Bee's fever took hold like wild fire, TOP Honeybee Sonic Sanders glves o clap as she cheers along with the cheerleadels. The week was October 2529, 1982. Monday night Miss Lincoln Pageant was held. There were thirteen contestants in tolent, gown, and interview competitions. There was 0 variety of song, dance and drama for choosing the five finalistst Tuesday was designated as Western Doy. On this day students were able to dress olike, just 05 if they ore twins. After school there was 0 Bozoor. Thursday was Dress-Up Day. Every student arrived at school, wearing their very best, Then ofter the ringing of the 2nd period bell, the whole school gathered in the Boy's gym to watch the crowning of Kim Lindsey, Miss Lincoln 1982-83. Friday was the day of the big game against South Pork Greenies. Following the big game, the school hosted a Masquerade Ball. In October the F.H.A,'ers sponsored a cotton con- dy booth, A new member's Recognition Day was held. The activities were as follows: The members had to wear red and white, and an FHA. emblem. They had to carry on egg and get signatures from the old members. Patricio Sight was the winner of the egg-corrying con- test. In December the F.H.A,'ers mode Christmas cords for the Faculty and they went coroling ot Gospord Nursing Home. February found F.H.A.'ers busy making Valentines tor the children or West Side Day Nursery. These were distribured 0t 0 party for the children with games and refreshments. The members baked cakes for the bosketboll teoms. FHA Week was celebrated with cakes, and refreshments were served to the faculty and staff. On March 12, 1983, our delegates Corolyn Brown, Trocey Bell, Schowneequo Wright, Wenerto Troiner, Patricio Sight, and Dessie Daniels traveled to Lufkin, Texas, for the area IX F.H.AJHero meeting to be greeted by a blue and green hot air balloon representing the theme: The Sky is the Limit, their name tag entry, mode by Patricia Sight, brought home 0 fourth place from the approximately fifty entries. in April the F,H.A,'ers finished Eoster baskets and dyed eggs for the children or the West Side Day Nursery.
