FEBRUARY BANQUET A FIRST The Honeybees celebrated their first annual banquet during February. Guest speaker for the occasion was Duriel Harris, professional football player with the Miami Dolphins and a former Port Arthuran. Honeybees, their parents and special guests listened as Harris spoke on HThe New Woman. Trophies were presented to senior Honeybees for the time and hard work they provided during the 1977 season. The fifth Annual Honeybee Ball, meant to honor graduating seniors, was held the following night. Special recognition was given Mrs. Vivian Bobb, Honeybee sponsor, and Mrs. Edna Landry, president of the Honeybee Parents' Club. Later during the year Honeybees had a week of activities while screening for new members.
