AMERlCAN EDUCATION WEEK World History Classes Hold Egyptian Exhibit The World History Classes of Mrs T. Thomas, Mrs. M. Dixon, and Mr. Cordell Lindsey had an exhibit in the school library on a variety of projects dealing with ancient history. Many of the projects made by students were miniature models of pyramids of Egypt, mid houses of Egypt, clay tablets of Mesopotamia, furniture of Egypt and Mesopotamia, transportation carts of Egypt and clothing of Egypt and Mesopotamia. Other activities included posters showing various cultural aspects of the Romans and Greekst One of the purposes of these projects was to help students to gain a greater appreciation for history and the correlation of it with the present. THE WEEK of fun and excnemem was highltghIed by the talent and close competition !rom the NMISS Lincoln Pageant to the Homecoming game at the end of the week.

MILITARY FORCES VISIT CAMPUS Representatives from various branches of the armed forces visited campus during the year to promote their recruiting program and to establish good public relations with the school and community. Many representatives, some former Lincoln students tUwere able to speak with students individually and others at such as the Air Force band performed for a representative portion of the student body.
