AMERlCAN EDUCATION WEEK World History Classes Hold Egyptian Exhibit The World History Classes of Mrs T. Thomas, Mrs. M. Dixon, and Mr. Cordell Lindsey had an exhibit in the school library on a variety of projects dealing with ancient history. Many of the projects made by students were miniature models of pyramids of Egypt, mid houses of Egypt, clay tablets of Mesopotamia, furniture of Egypt and Mesopotamia, transportation carts of Egypt and clothing of Egypt and Mesopotamia. Other activities included posters showing various cultural aspects of the Romans and Greekst One of the purposes of these projects was to help students to gain a greater appreciation for history and the correlation of it with the present.
