Students displayed strength of purpose in all efforts, taking the best of their talents to achieve margins of success in academics and sports and gaining as they progressed a new and improved relationship with peers and the real world. Although many times students did not walk away with medals, crowns or honors, success through failure was still achieved. And now, students looking back over the intangible awards through their many experiences that aided in their development into young adults, can truly say with pride that 1978 was A YEAR AT THE TOP.
