October brought the fall meeting of the district 22-43 good sportsmanship league to lincoln. H mm: DI Will; 1 71:1 1 HI ! J m3? ' 255 136 as this yearbook is prepared for shipment, many mem- ories run through my mind. i remember the days that it seemed as if no lay-out existed that would fit a set of pictures, the days there was more liquid paper than writing on a quad. the days no one showed up for organizational pictures, and the times pages were re- done only to find the missing picture undemeath a stack of paper. however, as i look at the finished publica- tion, all the disappointments and setbacks seem quite trivial. it is my sincere hope that every student who turns the pages of the 1972 bumblebee will remember the joys of this school year and will be incited to con- tinue to make lincoln high school excel in all areas. for the help in creating this year's edition, i extend special thanks to first my mother and father who al- lowed me to turn our home into a production room for what seemed like an eternity! to my younger sisters, who learned about balanced pages and cropped pictures at very early ages; to phyllis phillips, my ever-smiling associate, for helping me see the whole thing through; to mr. arthur l. craft, for his sound advice; to mr. and mrs. briscoe, for their devoted efforts to please me and the staff; and to a very spe- cial person, a very special thank you for your unfaltet- ing encouragement and support.
