This is a typical meeting of the Lincoln High Student Council. Dur- ing the past nine years, it has more than fulfilled its objectives to promote school spirit, loyalty, and cooperation among the students and teachers of Lincoln. The fifty-three members have always endeavored to improve the effectiveness of thcir work through new activities and better pro- grams. The Council conducts movies, socials, gym night, student and faculty talent shows. Intluded in its activities were the distribution of canned goods among thc needy, Courtesy Week, and an annual tripe to the Lone Star State Association of Student Councils.
