WE REMEMBER... OUR SCHOOL LIFE rush to d full A kaleidoscope of memories . . . of the rush, make the 8:10 record-check . . . of days cramme of assignments, recitations, labs, examinations . . . Gee, I thought I knew this subject pretty well, but . . . . . . the rush to get homework over . . . My favorite TV show will be on in a minutel' . . . memorable assembly periods . . . Who taught him to perform so well?,' . . . lingering in t e a g ings . . . '4Oh, my hall pass? I have it here h h lls to reet friends . . . and to learn the happen somewhere . . . of such class activity as the rhythm of typewriters in the Typing Room . . . the singing of the welding torch in shops . . . or the delicious aromas of cooking experiments permeating the building . . . and throu hout, the soothin sound of literature bein 5 5 g explored, or voices blended in harmony . . . There were the dances, both formal and informal . . . the bustle of activity as we got ready for homecoming . . . junior-senior prom . . . out-of-town games . . . end- less activities of seniors as they prepare for their final, shining hour . . And each weekend, the unwinding, the shifting of gears for a different kind of activity . . . movies, dates, parties . . . then, finally, June, 1957 . . . the cycle slows . . . and the feeling of accomplishment is there as we receive our promotions . . . and await the next beginning . . .
