MULKEY President Owner of Mulkev Pharmacies i gddflddfg ' S6 Contracts have been let, and construction is underway for most of the building and remodeling of schools in Port Arthur which our Board of Education has undertaken as a result of the 56.396000 bond program. And though the apportionment to Lincoln at present is an estimated 338.850 for enlargement of our industrial arts shops. it is expected that the additions to the plants of the elemcutarv schools. enabling them to carry a larger enrollment. will rclieve considerably the over-crowdeduess at Lincoln School. The seven civic-minded citizens who comprise the Board of Education are elected for a two-year term in groups of three. two, and two on the first'Saturday in April of each vear. Serving without salary, their only compensation is in working toward a school system which offers all its students opportunities for a well-rounded education.
