LADY OF THE HOUSE--Jacque Alanis, lbelow leftl, casts an accusing eye in the murder mystery Toward Zero presented by the Drama De- partment. Creativity flo urish es New additions to the Practical and Performing Arts Departments enhanced the programs with fresh and creative ideas. lVlr. Stanley Kabler taught construction tech- nology this year. Besides drawing blueprints, he builds custom homes and does carpentry work. The Regional Occupation Program was kept busy with projects such as building a utility room for the new pool. The former Denise Preszler became lVlrs. Denise Huiras over the summer. Huiras and Marge Combs, who replaced Donna IVlcCusker, taught Home Economics, Home and Family, and Living Nlanagement. Huiras also taught Family Life Education on a district, county, and statewide level as part of a six person training team. l see students learning and growing as responsible people having more control over their lives and decisions they make, commented lVIrs. Huiras. l love their openness and zest for life. Drama Director Paul Barnes, who moved to Oregon, was replaced by lVlr. Stephen Sampson, 'Y a graduate of Sacramento State.
