It started out as a small eubbyhole where soft drinks and various food products were sold, and has grown ad'-3 Q Marilyn at Holappa Treasurer into a full-scale operation. serving all of Lincoln High. Under the supervision of a board of directors, the store maintains five differ- ent departments which earry on the activities of the store. These departmentsw sales, purchasing, advertising, accounting, and maintenance-not only serve a usefulness to the student body, but they also give students a chance to obtain experience in practical business. -N This year's chairman, Eddie Grogan, has spearheaded membership drives, establishment of a constitution, and many other measures beneficial to the store and student body.

New Lincoln High's Student Store ---....,.....,., iiiiswasfst-:4msng.wia,,, 2 fr fi-'AZ The profits of the Student Store are used to expand and improve the store itself, and to holster the student hody fund. ln its first year of opera- tion, the storeis assets totaled F51.083.09. This year the store is making plans for the building of a portable store and the eventual addition of a permanent store. At present the store occupies a store-room off the locker hall.
