THE EGG AND I Have you ever con- sidered packing up and moving out to a chicken farm? That's egg-zactly what the Me Donald family did in the fall comedy, THE EGG AND I. The McDonalds were played by Michelle Taylor, (Betty), Tim Rudol- phi (Don), Sue Lloyd, and Kathy Hooker daughters Anne and Joan). The play was about their often hil- arious efforts to make THEIR chicken farm the best around. Lincoln's new director, Pat Taylor, did a fine job with the assistance of her stu- dent director, Becky Hell- man and, of course, the indispensable crews. The Lincoln Players have done it again! Not now, I have a headache. I thought singing in the rain was supposed to bo romantic. My girdle is killing me! Eeeeek! A mouse! 24 I think it will look cute!

Seniors dominate! Time for bed, Kent! Leigh Ann really has pep! PEP FESTS This year's pep fests were peppier than ever. The first fest of the year was the tradi- tional Burn on Sophomore pep fest. The juniors and seniors thoroughly enjoyed the throwing of pacifiers, candy, and paper airplanes at the sophomores. Kent Petterson, sophomore of the year, got an overall view of the pep fest through the bars of his playpen. The following pep fests were justas spirited. The cheerlead- ers, bruinettes, flags, band, and the student body rooted on the various sports teams of Lincoln High. The enthusiasm of the students at Lincoln is matched by no other school. The involvement of the audience in the skits, races, cheers, and contests gave the pep fests an extra glow. The fest would end with our own marching band playing the school song, while the cheerleaders cheered, the bruinettes danced, the flags pompomed, and the crowd stood and clapped and sang along. This year's pep rests, to the people who participated, were alot more than just a half hour out of class. 25 ... and today wo have a really big shooo. Chuck still has problems dressing himself.
