The Girls Caught Their Guys The mood for this year's Sadie Hawkins was set by the play Li'l Abner,” which was performed just a week before by Lincoln’s own drama club. Students were dressed in overalls, cutoffs, long underwear, and other tattered concoctions. The band, ’’Goldy and the Barrymen,” played a very large range of music including polkas, slow type, and fast rock. Some of the attractions at the dance were sack races, a shooting gallery, pictures, and of course the hitching booth. The prices of a wedding varied, with the thirty cent wedding being the deluxe, which featured an all expense paid trip behind Honeymoon Rock. ’' The excitement shown on Friday, November 21, made this year's Sadie Hawkins a dem good, knee-slappin' event! Here arc the Hatfields . . . 1 bet you can't hit It I How'd I get into this mess? Have a sip cutie? Our little honeymoon cottage. Isn't it nice to have caught some guys? The girls take their guys for a swing. 20 Sodie Hawkins Dance -F ..
