Moonlight Serenade It was the evening of all evenings. Beginning with the vic- tory of the hockey team and ending with the Moonlight Serenade. Contrasting the zero temperature and the icy parking lot was the warmth of fun and friendship. Highlighting the dance was the crowning of the king and queen. This is the thought that any typical teen-age girl would have if she knew the famous rock star. Conrad Birdie (Paul Fossum), was going to kiss her. In Lincoln High’s fall musical. BYE. BYE. BIRDIE. Kim MacAfee (Cori Johnson) almost had this once in a lifetime experience happen to her (but her faithful steady. Hugo F. Peabody (Pat Schlagel) saw to it that this event wouldn't take place). To the dismay of Conrad's manager. Albert Peterson (Tom Larson) everything was going wrong. Only the cleverness of Rosie Alvarez (Julie Heinz), Albert’s fiancee, saved him from ruin. Rose arranged for Conrad to give Kim one last kiss on the Ed Sullivan Show. However, this wasn't very successful, because of Hugo's punching Conrad in the mouth before he kissed her. Not only did Albert receive flack from Hugo, but from the rest of the guys In the town. Kim’s parents (Wendy Abell and Pat Dold). his domineering mother (Liz Bohn), and the other people of the town.
