Excitement Continues At Climatic Festivities Suspense and excitement along with tears and laughter set the mood for Homecoming Coronation. Music started. Annette Ruhme and the bear carried the flaming torch to the stage before the breathless crowd. The sophomore and junior attendants entered, followed by the King and Queen candidates. 1973 Royalty. Queen Kim Elton and King Rick Larson completed their final walk. Tommy Knisely carried the envelope containing the names of the 1974 King and Queen to the front, where Kim and Rick finally crowned Linda Stowman and Dave Albers as the new Royalty. Junior Attendants: Ann Qaliogty and Tim Rathgo Queen Linda Stowman and King Dave Albers taking their first walk as reigning royalty.
