APPRENTICES... The first day of school brought many new, exciting faces and personalities into our midst. The night of the all school mixer arrived with the bravest of the greenies wishing they were, oh, just any place, but not there! This was the night the new seniors were waiting for, here was their chance to show their supremacy. As the night progressed, the funny antics of the young- est students left everyone in an eager and happy mood. The highlight of the freshmen year is the freshman party. At this party the grand march was led by Janet Van Ornum and Wallace Nel- son. The entertainment consisted of a short- skit and musical selections, later dancing. With every new group of freshmen come many students with talents which develop into outstanding accom- plishments. During their freshman year they begin getting accustomed to the competition in their particular field and begin to work harder and harder at it until they are its master.
