Row I: Taylor, Breed, Wilcox, Galeloy, Binnebose, link, Binnebase, Fiegel, Burt, A hearty cheer resounded through the air, sending the team off to a good fight. lt was given by the Pep Club, whose purpose it is to boost athletics and promote social activities. Organized under the leadership of Miss Pedersen, it votes in and initiates new members from the iunior and senior classes, keeping the number at seventy-five. In their red skirts and white monogrammed sweaters, these girls boost school spirit at the games, serve the teams lunches, and sponsor all-school dances. The trimming of the Christmas tree, a program of community singing, and the annual date- dance are added proiects of this organization. Its members were under no obliga- tion to the club, and the only qualification for admittance was a thorough interest in art work. Wednesday afternoons were set aside for the twenty-eight members to gather in the art room to work on any optional proiect. During the year, members made Iinoleum blocks for Christmas cards, and experimented with an assortment of material, hoping to obtain new paints.
