During the season, | felt we made progress with the funda- mentals of football. The 8th graders must work hard at their skills to be ready to play high school football. The 7th grade team lost both their games by one touchdown. There is some fine talent in this grade, and we are looking forward to better success next year; comments by Coach Wendel. Coach Plueger said that the program is mainly for the girls to gain experience and to stimulate interest in the sport of volleyball. The program lasted for about four weeks; and they did play one other school, Lisbon.
