FFA Sweetheart Dance Surprises, Surprises, that's what the FFA Sweetheart Dance is all about. This year we really had some smart looking girls to represent the Lincoln Chapter. The candidates were Denise Cook, Tammy Thomson, and Carol Pruess. This year we had one girl, Cindy Hay, from Olin since the Lincoln Chapter consists of both schools. On the night of February 26, about 10 o'clock, Tom Poduska introduced the candidates and their escorts. The moment was about to happen . Carol Pruess was chosen as the '77-'78 Sweetheart. Carol was given her jacket and one dozen red roses. Left to right bottom - Dan Driscoll, Denise Cook, President Jeff Odeen, '76-'77 Sweetheart Kaylene Jilovec, Tammy Thomson, Dennis Coppess. Top tow - Delbert Coppess, Cindy Hay, '77-'78 Sweetheart Carol Pruess, Jim Rouse.

“You Can’t Take It With You” Presented at Lincoln November 6 and 8 It took many long weeks, but on November 6, a group of hard working cast and crew members were ready to perform Moss Hart and George Kaufman's comedy, ''You Can't Take It With You. ’ Everyone enjoyed the production as well as the members of the cast enjoyed giving it. We wish that we could list everyone behind the scenes that helped, because it took many people to make the production a success. Mrs. Roxanne Hughes was this year’s director with Mr. Keith Lenz assisting. Both of these people were new at Lincoln this year, and did a fine job.
