Chirteen Years at Lincoln KINDERGARTEN 1961-62 Recognize any of these innocent, smiling faces? Believe it or not, here are the beginnings of the Class of 1974. Of course, many of these faces never completed their high school years at Lincoln, but there were others who came later to add to the class. Thirteen years later, these same (maybe not quite so innocent) kids completed their high school education and were turned loose into the world. Following their varied interests, each one traveled a separate road in search of their dreams, as the graduating classes before them. But what makes this group of individuals so spe- cial? They were the very first class to complete thirteen years at LHS, the two schools having com- bined in 1961. Way back in kindergarten, they played four-square during recess and mastered the art of tying their ox- fords. Through elementary, they learned to read and write, subconsciously developing their own per- sonalities. Junior High, although frightening at first, meant going to Stanwood with the big kids. Their freshman, sophomore, and junior years were spent in anxious anticipation of their senior year. This book is dedicated to the Class of 1974 so that they may remember their friends and all the activities of their year. First row: R,. Vickery, C. Krumm, B. Agne, Kendra Murfield, J. Hines, B.
