The highlights of the season of course, would be the second Conference title in a row for the Panthers, and the third in the seven year history of the conference. The undefeated season would stand-out as the second major goal of the 73 squad, and this was also accomplished by the Junior Varsity squad. Coming from behind three times to win the Midland game shows the ability of this team to never say die. The team very seldom lost its poise and always showed great sportsmanship in winning; never belittling its opponents while winning, but respecting them for their ability to play the game. The team was very coachable, never displayed jealousies, never looked for the easy way out but always did what was asked of them. So our hats are off to you, the Panthers of 1973. 28 Sponsored by: Yoder Feeds and Funks G Hybrids, Stanwood, 945-6661
