1973 Marching Band The 1973 Marching Band, shown in formation, had some new attractions this year. They had an honor guard, a color guard, and also a new band director, Mr. Meyer. They had some great times, like attending the Oelwein Band Festival, marching in parades, and in Clinton on Halloween night, plus doing a fantastic job at our games. It wasn't all fun and games though, they had to get up pretty early to make practice at 7:00 in the morn- ing. They practiced long and hard to make their season the success it was. Our 1973 band gave our school great reflections.
