Photographed in a scene from Impromptu are, left to right: Donald Langford, Mary Lu Johnson, Theresa Brown, James Latham, and Bruce Ward. Students Produce Cne-Act Plays Lincoln's drama season closed with a two-night run of one-act plays produced and directed entirely by students. It was a unique--and successful--undertaking. At perhaps no other junior college are students given such freedom in drama. Prank Alesia, Rye Rhodes, and Barry Young directed the plays. They staged The Monkey's Paw, Impromptu, and Let There Be Farce, Another play, So You Wanna Be A Star, was from an original script by student Phil Harper and had a cast of one-- Mickey Carroll. During the year there were five one-act plays and two major productions--an L.C. record. Betsy McKelvey grabs Dennis Sherry by ear and tie and tells him to get lost in this scene from Let There Be Farce. Sandra Miller is at right. 20
