Mmm The Four Preps--as they appeared April l, during a concert at the Lynx Lair. Four Preps Give L. C Student broadcasters Carl Graf, left, and Frank Alesia helped bring L. C. news to the community on radio station WPRC. I8 Concert Each year Lincoln College brings a nationally known p e r s on a l i t y to campus as an entertainment highlight. This year there were four--The Four Preps. They had the Lynx Lair swing- ing during their concert. The Current Events Club brought in sev e r al speakers, including Mrs. Georgia C o Z Z i ni, vice presidential candidate ofthe Socialist Labor Party. All of which provided much news for students' weekly WPRC broadcast. Mike Lumpp, elected king of the event, was competing in the National Junior College Basketball Tournament at this time. Beauty wasn t the only thing that was rewarded. The Homecoming theme was Broadway musicals, and Forsythe's decoration was based upon Li'l Abner.

Spring Carnival. Carnival Full of Hiiinks As the school year headed toward its final month, students took time out fora last fling at frivolity and paused to honor those who had contributed to ah successful year. On April 28 the annual Spring Carnival was held. The post office game and the big dipper pictured on this page were popular games, but perhaps not as popular as one behind the gym. There students were able to work out any feelings of hostility by slamming an old car with a sledge hammer. Two nights later a more serious event--the first annual awards ban- quet- -was held at Guzzardo's.
