Olympics Tests Limbo Limberness Terry Ryan crowns Jeanne Loewenau queen of the 1961 Olympic Games. The Lincoln College Olympic Games got off to a fiery start with a torch lighting ceremony starting at Olin-Sang dormitory and ending, quite warmly, at the gymnasium. Jeanne Loewenau, sophomore from Downers Grove, reigned as queen of the two-day event. 'Taking o Chance On Love' Autumn was a season for fading flowers but blooming romances. Many-hued leaves, blanketing our campus, hailed the advent of Indian Summer. With this bewitching season came Harvest Holiday, the annual fall dance. Burton House was the host for the pre - dance coketail parties,Joe Dean supplied the music and we furnished the happy couples. Pictured at the Harvest Holiday dance are, left to right, Andy Hutchin son, Barbara Perlman, guest Sherry Jamison, and Lee Davis. 1 Harvest Holiday creates smiles . . . and weary feet! Quarterback Lenore Daleiden hands ball to a teammate during the annual Powder Puff Bowl contest. Lenore directed her Hensley-Burton-Barrett team to victory over Harts Hall girls. Gals Run Wild, Go Crazy! Football is not an inter-colleg- iate sport at Lincoln College, but that didn't stop some of our more venturesome students from getting sore muscles. The girls from Hensley Lodge, Burton and Barrett houses ganged up on Harts Hall for a 9-3 conquest in the Powder Puff Bowl. Olin-Sang 's dauntless warriors swamped Forsythe Hall 42-'7 in the men's gridiron classic. The following week end Circle K presented a Crazy Day dance in a crazy manner. There was a cal- endar mixup and only three of the participants were dressed appropri- ately for the madcap event. i :Q 1' N Crazy's the word for it. Gail Herman, Mickey Carroll and Sandra Weingarten' were suitably dressed for the Circle K's Crazy Day dance,
