DEAN OF OUR GRADUATE SCHOOL “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This is gospel; it is “good news”. But it is more than gospel, more than “good news” — it is THE GOSPEL, THE “GOOD NEWS”. It is unique. This news differs from all other news as God differs from all other gods, as the Son differs from all other sons, as God’s love differs from all other love, and as God’s invitation differs from all other invitations.
