—q Zmo= =nmysy Weo Jesus placed much importance and responsibility upon His followers when He said “Ye are the light of the world.’ Our old world is in need of the Light of lights. People are living in the darkness of sin, superstition and hate. We in the year 1953 have a great opportunity to carry to them the light of God’s love and grace. With this opportunity comes responsibility. If we do not carry the light, people will die in darkness. We must not fail. This year’s Lifeline is a great challenge and call to service. Let us dedicate ourselves to the task of being light bearers, so that when the race is run and the victory won, Jesus will say, “Well done for ye were the light of the world.” EARL C. HARGROVE ... walk while ye have the light... aa

zP muou wee } Still it shines! The Light sti ll shines! Often, in dark ages of the past, the Light has shone to make clear the way of countless millions as they have groped their way or as they stumbled in the darkness of this world. And still it shines! It shines in the classes, the chapels, the so- cials of Lincoln Bible Institute. It shines in the lives and the ministries of her students. It shines in the churches, the missions and the other services where her students are laboring. We thank God that we can have a small share in keeping the light shining. We count it all blessing that we have been entrusted with this sacred task of teaching and training in order that bearers of the light may be prepared forthe high and holy work that is theirs. CHARLES E. MILLS . . Cet darkness come apron you. Yoha 12:55
