LBL PREACHERS In I Corinthians 1:21, Paul says, “...it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to on them that believed. “Then in Romans 10:14, Paul askes, “. . .how shall they hear without a preacher?” Back in 1944, when Lincoln Bible Institute was organized, it was organized with one purpose in mind--to train preachers. The men who founded Lincoln Bible Institute saw the grave need for preachers who would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in all of its pureness and simplicity. Thus L.B.I. opened with the promise that “the preachers are coming.” | And come they did. ..In 1944, eleven preachers went out | into the field to serve fifteen churches. Fach year the number | of preachers has increased until this year there are ninety- six preachers serving one hundred and fifteen churches. “PREACH THE WORD; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” II Timothy 4:2 “Onward, Christian soldiers!
