| e : P ’ | Le i a ae”. EG AP a) ee |e er. | Six busy and fruitful years have come and gone since the Lincoln Bible Institute enrolled its first student body in the autumn of 1943. The accomplishments of these years have surpassed our fondest dreams and expectations. From His bounty the Lord has poured generous blessings upon us, and His people have given liberally of their interest and substance to make possible this rapid progress. The flowering of our nation’s best youth has come to these halls and classrooms in search of the key to effective service in the Kingdom of God. All things have conspired to bring forth a rich vintage for the storehouse of our Lord. We praise and thank God for the accomplishments of the past. They are noteworthy. Dead churches have been revived, closed churches have been reopened, many congregations have been able to increase their service by securing an In- stitute preacher, and evangelism has begun to advance all along the line. Great as these accomplishments may be, and they are truly great, they are the achievements of students. They are an indication of what may be attained by a great host of Christian workers who have developed into well bal- anced personalities according to that four-fold standard set before us by our Lord and have grown spiritually, physically, intellectually and soci ally. The world awaits a great ministry which will carry the Word of God to the far ends of the earth and preach it and teach it faithfully and effectively to the hosts who perish without it. We have put our hands to the plow. Let us not turn back,
