The Limington boys' basketball team began practice in early November with a turnout of 13 boys. 'Raymond Johnson and Norman Maxim were chosen co-captains on the basis of their play and experience the previous season. Ivory Estes volunteered his services as manager. Although we lost most of our games, we enjoyed ourselves, and the team gained much valuable experience. We look forward to a successful season next year, since only one playerx will be lost through graduation. The team would like to thank its coach, Mr. McDonald, for the time he has devoted to us and for the patience he has shown. Sponsored by LOCUST FARM DAIRY

Although the girls' basketball team cannot claim a successful season in terms of wins and losses, interest, enthusiasm and good sportsmanship remained high throughout the entire schedule Co -captains Judy Edgecomb and Sylvia Pulsifer scored well all season and were selected to repre- sent the school at the All-Star game at Casco. Linda Spraker also went along as an alternate. The team wishes to express its thanks to our coach, Mr. Fairchild, for all the time and effort he has expended in our behalf.
