Miss Emmie Evans You have been our friend. You have instilled in us pride in our school and ourselves, and shown us an enthusiasm for life. You have cared, and this we will always remember. We see in you that which we would like to see in ourselves. Each of us will carry with us a special memory of one who was our friend, counselor, and teacher. These past four years would have been lacking without youafor you have cheerfully and unselfishly given of yourself. The little things showed us that you caredadoughnuts and hot chocolate, spaghetti suppers, kind words, and even parking tickets. Because you are yourself we have come to love and respect you. And so we prepare to leave, taking with us what you have come to symbolize to all of us. To y0u, Miss Emmie Evans, we, the class of 1965, are proud to dedicate The Calciid in the hope that in some small way you will know how deeply we appreciate all that you are and have been to us.
