TREBLE CLEF CHOIR The Treble Clef Choir, made up of sixty sophomore girls, is an organization Where students sing for enjoyment, learn the fundamentals of music and singing, learn repertoire and have a choir experience. This year they sang in Holiday in Harmony and Springtime Serenade. They also participated in Fall Festival and Invitational Concert. They meet in 104, third period on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Jackie Davis. Gloria Shambly and Freda Wells. JUNIOR SENIOR GIRLS CHORUS Officers for the chorus this year were Pam Ferris, President, Suzy Blauvelt, Secretary, and Cheryl McCoy, Treasurer. Mrs. Skolos is the director. The chorus consists of thirty juniors and senior girls. Tryouts are held each spring. Our main purpose is the enjoyment of good music and to learn to sing three part harmony. We participated in Fall Music Festival, Holiday In Harmony, Invitational Concert, the Springtime Serenade, and Commencement ceremonies. SWINGPHONETTES The Swingphonettes is an organization which enables students interested in dance band music to develop the fundamental techniques for playing this type of music. To gain experience we played for two band concerts, two post-game dances, the Inaugural Ball, and the Who's Who Dance. The Swingphonettes held rehearsals on Wednesday evenings. This past year our band included the following students: Trumpet: Tom Gavin, Ladd Sellers, Bob Flanigan, Tim Kennedy, Terry Smith.
