Jackie Davis. Gloria Shambly and Freda Wells. JUNIOR SENIOR GIRLS CHORUS Officers for the chorus this year were Pam Ferris, President, Suzy Blauvelt, Secretary, and Cheryl McCoy, Treasurer. Mrs. Skolos is the director. The chorus consists of thirty juniors and senior girls. Tryouts are held each spring. Our main purpose is the enjoyment of good music and to learn to sing three part harmony. We participated in Fall Music Festival, Holiday In Harmony, Invitational Concert, the Springtime Serenade, and Commencement ceremonies. The chorus meets first period Tuesdays and Thursdays in room 102. -158-

SPARTONES The Spartones are twenty-three sophomore girls, selected from the Sopho- more Choir for their interest and ability in vocal music. The purpose of this group is to learn some of the fine points of singing technique, ensemble work, to learn more about music in general, for enjoyment of music, and to entertain. This ensemble participated in Holiday in Harmony, Springtime Serenade, and several school assemblies. They also sang for many community and school organi- zations. Meetings are in 104, third period on Monday and Wednesday. Officers are Mary jane Laman, presidentg Barbara Rabe, secretaryg Leslie Smith, librarian. The director is Mrs. Beth Miller. -157- W

TREBLE CLEF CHOIR The Treble Clef Choir, made up of sixty sophomore girls, is an organization Where students sing for enjoyment, learn the fundamentals of music and singing, learn repertoire and have a choir experience. This year they sang in Holiday in Harmony and Springtime Serenade. They also participated in Fall Festival and Invitational Concert. They meet in 104, third period on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
