NATIONAL THESPIANS ln l955 Central High School and South High School became junior high schools and Lima Senior High School was assigned The Thespian Troupe Charter 553, which formerly had been at the Central High School. South High School Charter 649 was withdrawn. At the time-and up until her passing away this year, Miss Ruth Moore had served faithfully as the National Thespian Sponsor. Because of the circumstances involved, Mr. Ron Dondero is now serving as Thespian sponsor and has declared this year's organization to be an honorary society for all of the dramatic arts students. Eighteen members were pledged into the organizations this year while two members from last year were retained. Members are asked to remember Miss Moore and her splendid efforts in keeping the local troupe organized. -124-

DELTA CHI DRAMA CLUB Any student who is interested in drama and proves it by his work is eligible for membership in Delta Chi. Interested students should submit names for ap- proval. Some of the purposes of the club are to promote and sustain dramatic ex- cellence, to provide an opportunity for students to act and to produce drama.
