SCIENCE CLUB The science club is an interest club organized to promote further interest in science and related areas. Members of the club organize many of the pro- grams. Field trips are scheduled through the years. Members work on individual projects which are entered in the Northwest District Science Fair. HOME ARTS IN ACTION Any student enrolled in home arts is eligible for membership in the home arts club. Council members are elected by the faculty. There are no du During this school year, Home Arts In Action activities were: September, the wel- coming of sophomores to HA1Ag October and November, selling school colors, De- cember, the making of Christmas cookies and candies for the county home residents, january, our business meeting, February, selling of school colors, March, checking coats at the Northwest Music Contest and chartering a bus to Shawnee to hear Pat Wright, a designer of clothes, April, the preparation and serving of an Easter Tea for the faculty, May, the presenting of a Spartan Mothers Program and giving a farewell party for the senior members. Fred Wakefield. KEY CLUB All boys with a 2.5 grade average or better are invited to join this group. The Key C1ub's purpose is to serve school, community, and nation. The club has taken charge of parking and directing cars in the school parking lot during football season. During the year the club has ushered and sold concessions for Lima Friends of Music Concerts, aided the Kiwanis in various community pro- jects, as well as providing educational programs for members. Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:15 in the Student Council room. Officers for the year are: Mark johnson, Presidentg Bob Moats Vice- Presi- dentg and Bob Vitz, Secretary. Mr. Don Snow is the c1ub's advisor. -ll8-
