HOWARD W. SCHEUERMAN Privzcifml When you, the members of the class of l965, entered Lima Senior High School, you were urged to study yourselves carefully to de- termine the talents, the interests, and the cap- abilities which you individually possessed. You were then given the privilege of electing the courses and the activities which would lead to the maximum development of these talents and interests. We, the members of the faculty, are cog- nizant of your accomplishments and the honors achieved in your efforts to reach your ob- jectives. For these accomplishments and honors we extend our heartiest congratulations. However, as you leave your Alma Mater, we sincerely hope that the information ab- sorbed, the procedures learned, and the at- titudes and ideals established within you are of such caliber that you will be able to as- sume like true Spartans the responsibilities which you will be called upon to shoulder. We firmly believe that you can effectively assume these responsibilities if you know the value of your word, respect individuals who possess different opinions and beliefs, work to- gether with those individuals to reach estab- lished goals, and manifest the courage to stand for those ideals which by critical thinking you have found to be right. These traits firmly established and judic- iously used should enable you to move our community, state, and nation ever forward. HOWARD W. SCHFUERMAN Principal DANA W. AUKERMAN Assixtfzllt Priucifnzl
