SENIOR Y-TEENS Senior Y-teens is a service club which meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Any senior girl is eligible to be a Y-teen. The Y-teen purpose is to build a fellowship of women and girls devoted to the task of real- izing in our common life those ideals of per- sonal and social living to which we are com- mitted by our faith as Christians. In this en- deavor we seek to understand jesus, to share his love for all people, and to grow in the knowledge and love of God. For our service projects this year, we pro- vided food for five needy families, made Easter favors for the State Hospital, and entertained children at the Hanging of the Greens. Our money making projects consisted of selling mums for Homecoming, sweatshirts, and sponsoring a Y-teen formal. Our educational trips included a visit to the Lima Citizen, the State Hospital, and a funeral home. Pam Gillette and Diane Vogelgesang at- tended the Regional Y.W.C.A. Conference in Chicago, Illinois. To conclude the year, we held a slumber party at the Y.W.C.A. including a midnight swim. Officers for this year were Mary Maurer, President, plane Zinsmeister, Vice President, Diane Vogelgesang, Secretary, Paulette Cook, Treasurer, Shirley Michael, Interclub Council Representative, and Anne McMahan, Program Chairman. Miss Mary Weadock is the advisor. OFFICERS -l06-
