THE STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council, composed of eight sophomores, twelve juniors, and sixteen seniors, is the governing body of the school. It acts to promote the general welfare of the school and to represent the entire student body. The past school year has been highly successful. Our accomplishments and projects have been as follows: sophomore orientation, publishing of handbooks, homecoming events, pep assemblies, school election, operation of concessions and sale of programs for the basketball tournaments. Other events arranged and carried out were the Inaugural Ball, Who's Who, May Day and Senior Distinction Day festivities. The council also promoted most other major school activities. This year's officers were: Frank Wilson, President, Leslie McCullough, Vice President, Mary Maurer, Secretary, Andrea Beck, Treasurer, Bob Moats, Sergeant- at-arms, and our advisor was Mr. Scheueman. -100-
