Acizwizef During the 'L9 'SO school year, Lima High's band, under the direction of Miss Jane Baumer, was as active as usual With the addition of four twirlers and a drum majorette, the band was asked to play at one of the football games at Genesee Junior College Soon after this, all members were found busily preparing for the Christmas concert, and dona+1ons received from this enterprise helped buy new uniform the fir t in many years Numerous other project were undertaken daring the year Playing at home basketball games vas one of the projects and playing at a March of Dimes heneflt basketball game sponsored by the alumni was another, but the highlight of the season was the Livingston County Muslc Festival held at Geneseo 'n February 'ima sent several particlpants, among them, Donald Conner, Mary E Leyers, G ne Beckwith, Iucille Harvey and Alice Adams The members of the band are as follows Trumpets, Donald Conner, Roger Sherman, Verne Wright, Trombones, Beverly Miller, rorman Barrett, Par1tone, Iulu Jans, Clarinets, Barbara Farrell, Gwendolyn Moses, Gene Beckwith, Marllyn Wemett, Flutes , Alice Adams, Luc1lle Harvey, Joyce Wright, Saxaphones, David Conner, Nar5 E Meyers, Pauline Payne, Mary L Semmel, Ruth Barber, Drums, Richard Dean, Donald Driscoll Azg, ff'i:sEfD A9 mg?
