Advisor - - - ----- - - Miss Mary Belle Linnell The members of the Iunior Red Cross may not have treated patients, but, nevertheless, they played an important part in helping other people. The activities they undertook were the same as in the past. They raised money by sell- ing pencils, and by the generous donations ot both teachers and students during their cam- paign. Most of this money was turned in to the local and the national Red Cross headquart- ers, but some was kept to finance Central's club. As last year, they filled boxes with clothes and toys for children in countries devastated by war. The patients of the local hospitals also enjoyed their handiwork through the varied favors placed on service trays. It you'd like to have fun and help others in the way these students did, be sure to join next year's Iunior Red Cross. lean MacDonel1 ii i' 'k Home Room Representatives Advisor - - - - - - - - Mr. Howard C. Grove Among the many student organizations of Central High School, sponsored by the Stu- dent Council, was the Homeroom Representatives. These forty-nine students were selected from the various homerooms to represent their classmates. They met in room 307 under the supervision of the principal ,whenever a meeting was necessary. They assisted by making homeroom announcements and in supervising the collection of money during such fund-raising Eampaigns as the Magazine, the Christmas Seal, the Community Chest, and the Red Cross nves.
