E. Doty At the beginning of the school year the dean of boys chose the Stage Club from those in grades ten through twelve who were interested in this activity. The club consisted of fourteen boys who met every week during the sixth period in the boys' stage dressing room. It was the Stage Club's duty to operate the lights and the public address system, to make, paint and set scenery, and to pull the curtain. The members were on duty in the auditorium every day from 8:00 A. M. until 3:45 P. M. to attend to Central's stage needs. Sally Schoenlein -ll 'lr 'k Proiectionists Advisor - - Mr. Iohn Kohn The objective of the projectionists this year was to learn the mechanism ot the movie pro- jectors and how to operate them. The boys devoted many ot their study halls to showing movies to classes and assemblies. The dean of boys selected this group from boys in grades nine through twelve who ap- plied at the beginning of the school year. The requirement for membership was a grade average ot two, scholastically. In the meetings, which were under the direction ot their ad- visor, the boys discussed the problems they had encountered in their work. The award received for one year's participation was a certificate, a service pin was given tor two years, and for three years a letter was presented. Sally Schoenlein -1 15-
